Paris Radio announced that 30 persons were shot in the demonstration and thousands were wounded apart from those executed Other accounts say that Black Guards with machine-guns are,stationed in the streets where students’ homes are located. A Zurich message states that the Black Shirts have completely occupied Prague and have placed machine-guns and light artillery opposite the university. Reinforcements from Germany have entered other Czechoslovakian towns. Five thousand motorised German troops arrived in Prague with artillery on Friday as a measure against the extension 01. student riots. The Paris report of the demonstration states that an urn containing the ashes of a student killed, in an earlier demonstration was sent home with instructions to bury it secretly, but a sister of the student told her surviving brother, whereupon the students marched to tin 1 Unknown Warrior’s monument and sang the national anthem. They tried to approach the residence of the Reich Protector, Baron von Neurath. The Germans, fearing a riot, dispatched two lorries to the university, whose crews opened fire; with machine-guns and automatic rifles, killing a boy and fatally injuring two students, while a lame old woman was thrown in Mohlau River. More Black Guards arrived and stormed the building and arrested the students. They fortified the roofs and windows and stormed other houses and made additional arrests, quite apart from brutally attacking citizens during the past few days.
