WAIRARAPA CRICKET
SATURDAY’S DAMES SURPRISES IN SENIOR CHAMPIONSHIP. GOOD SCORE BY WAIRARAPA COLLEGE. Saturday’s senior games produced some surprise packets. One was the splendid score put up by Wairarapa' College in the first innings against Lansdowne and another was the small first innings total registered by Red Star against Old Boys, this being due to the excellent bowling of Patrick, Barr and Hibbs. The weather was fine and the conditions generally productive of enjoyable cricket. The scores in the senior and junior games are given below. SENIOR CHAMPIONSHIP RED STAR v OLD BOYS.
