TENNIS TOURNAMENT NOT TO BE HELD THIS YEAR. (“Times-Age” Special.) At a meeting of the committee it was decided not to hold the South Wairarapa tennis tournament this year. INTOXICATED MOTORIST A FINE OF £lO. At the Martinborough S.M. Court, Martin Meuli was fined £lO and costs on a charge of having been intoxicated while in charge of a motor. His driving license was cancelled for two years. BOWLING CLUB CUP FOR SINGLES. Mrs. John Larsen and Mr. A. J. have donated a handsome cup to the Martinborough Bowling Club for competition in the handicap singles.
CENTENNIAL BATHS CONTRIBUTIONS TO FUND. The ..contributions to the Martinborough centennial baths fund now total £3O 16s. lOd. FLOWER SHOW A NEW DEPARTURE. In connection with the Rose and Sweet Pea Show on Tuesday a new departure will be that the door admission will include free afternoon tea.
