ROYAL N.Z. AIR FORCE. AIR GUNNERS. APPLICATIONS are invited from those desiring to serve in the Royal Air Force and the Royal New Zealand Air Force as air gunners. Enlistments will be for the duration of the war for service overseas. GENERAL. All candidates must have attained the age of eighteen years, but not thirty-two years, be unmarried, and able to pass the prescribed medical examination. No particular educational qualifications beyond Proficiency are insisted upon, but accepted applicants may be required to undertake a course of wireless telegraphy in addition to their gunnery instruction. It is not essential that applicants shall have had previous experience in regard to wireless telegraphy or gunnery, but a knowledge of these subjects will be an additional recommendation. Applicants whose services could not be availed of under the previous educational conditions may now re-apply if they have attained Proficiency standard.
