WAIRARAPA SUCCESSES. (By Telegraph—Press Associat’on.) HAWERA, November 17. Fine weather favoured the opening of the Egmont Agricultural and Pastoral Association’s show in Hawera today. The following were among the prize winners:— Ayrshires— W. Moore and Son (Masterton) gained seven firsts and showed the champion and reserve. Friesians. —M. J. Parker (Dalefield) monopolised the major platings. Saddle Horses. —Hack, mare or gelding in saddle, to be ridden, up to list; Miss M. Morrison (Masterton), 1; Miss F. White (Awapuni), 2. Women’s hack, over 15 hands: B. W. Harvey (Waverley), 1; Miss M. Morrison (Masterton), 2. Best-paced and mannered hack: Miss M. Morrison (Masterton). 1; Miss N. Cameron (Turakina), 2. Best walking horse: Miss F. White (Awapuni), 1; Miss M. Morrison (Masterton), 2. Best Woman rider. —Miss F. White (Awapuni), 1; Miss N. Cameron (Turakina), 2; Miss Morrison (Masterton), 3; Miss D. Bousfield (Waipukurau), 4.
