MUTRIE CUP MATCH. WIN FOR PARK CLUB. A match for the Mutrie Cup was played at the Masterton green on Wednesday between Thomson and Reid (Masterton) holders. and Carr and Gibson (Park) challengers. After a game of fluctuating fortunes in which the position changed several times Park were one up at the completion of the 20th end. When the skips went up for the final end Masterton were lying 3 up. Gibson with his third bowl trailed the jack to lie 1. Reid failed 'with his last l}owl and Park were left the winners by 19 to 17. Other results at the Park were: — Champion singles. Simpson 18, O’Donnell 12; Jones 19, Osborne 14. Handicap singles (Thompson Cup), Anstice 26. Bell 20.
