MASTERTON SALE. FAT SHEEP AT LATE RATES. The Associated Auctioneers report as follows on their weekly Masterton sale hold yesterday. Only a small entry of store sheep came forward while about the usual number of fats were oft'ereci. The fat sheep remained at recent rates but very little interest was taken in the stores, several pens being passed. The following were the prices obtained: — Fat sheep: Fat woolly wethers, 21s, 225, 24s to 24s lid; shorn wethers, good, 21s 3d; fat woolly ewes. 17s; shorn, good. 14s to 15s; light, Ils to 12s 3d; fat hoggets, Ids tid to 18s (id; b.f. 2-liis., 21s to 21s tid. Store sheep: Woolly ewes with lambs (all counted'’, 8s 3d to 10s Id; woolly 4-th. wethers, 225; shorn do., 18s 9d; woolly hoggets, Ids Cd to 17s Cd; shorn b.f. 2-ths., 15s. Cattle: Yearling Hereford cross steers. £3 ss; springing heifer. £7;; springing cow, £7. Pigs: Good wcaners, 2Cs, 22s Gd to I 23s (id; porkers, £2 6s to £2 3s.
