CHARLEY'S AUNT TOMORROW NIGHT. WORLD FAMOUS COMEDY. The Celebrity Comedy Company will open their Masterton season tomorrow J night in the Opera House when they i will stage that world-famous comedy, "Charley's Aunt." "Charley's Aunt” "from Brazil, where the nuts come from.” has been one of the most popular comedies in England for very many years. Usually presented at Christmas time, it enjoys the company' of pantomime and is greeted with as much popularity. The years have not dimmed this production, and with the excellent cast that will present the comedy at Masterton. the public will readily understand the reason for this lasting popularity. Heading the male portion of the cast is Don Nicol, who has already achieved considerable fame in the theatrical world of Australia and New Zealand. He has the abil-1 ity to maintain the characterisation of the difficult part to a degree that has won for him the plaudits of thousands of people in the Dominion and Masterton theatregoers will be equally' delighted with his performance in both productions at Masterton, “Charley's Aunt" and “Up in Mabel's Room.” Associated with him in both productions are John Fleeting. Lane Patterson. Charles Albert. Norman Barrington and Leal Douglas, a quintette of players capable of strengthening the quality' of any theatrical company. The leading female role is in the hands of Miss Shirley Ann Richards, the noted Australian film star who made history' in that direction in Australia in the “Dad and Dave” productions, in which she was associated with Bert Bailey. She is admirably cast in both productions and Masterton people will welcome the chance of seeing her brilliant work. Miss Maisie Wallace and Miss Mary Duncan are also well chosen for the parts they are called upon to play in these delightful comedies, and their presence rounds of! a well balanced cast that is sure to please the audience. On Saturday afternoon there will be a matinee in the Opera House when “Charley’s Aunt” will be presented. “UP IN MABEL’S ROOM."

The company' will conclude their season on Saturday' night when the rollicking comedy. "Up in Mabel's Room" will be presented.
