WAGES IN FRANCE
HENCEFORTH TO BE FIXED BY GOVERNMENT. REMOVING DISPROPORTION. Ry Telegraph—Press Association —Copyrighi (Received This Day. 12.55 p.m.) PARIS, November 15. Cabinet has decided that wages throughout France in future shall be fixed by the Government. The decision aims at removing the disproportion between the wages of firms working for national defence and private enterprise and also at avoiding a sudden increase in the cost of living. Working hours are unchanged. '
