BACK FROM FRANCE

DOMINION MINISTERS’ TOUR IMPRESSED WITH STRENGTH OF DEFENCES. MR EDEN ON ALLIED RESOLUTION By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright. (Received This Day. 10.15 a.m.) LONDON. November 15. The Dominion Ministers landed at a Channel port from France. Mr Anthony Eden, in a statement, said: “We were impressed more than ever with the strength of the defences and France’s preparedness.” An army officer, commanding the section which the Dominion ministers visited, stated that France at times was misunderstood and depicted as fickle and frivolous, but she has a tenacity second only to Britain's. The Allies would hold on until the final triumph. Mr Eden replied that England and the Dominions were resolved that future generations should be spared a recurrence of Teutonic fury.
