Messrs J. Coleman and A. Styles. PLAYER AND OFFICIAL.SERVICES OF MR F. DOHNT RECOGNISED. At a meeting of the Featherston Cricket Club last night the services of Mr F. Dohnt. who had been secretary since 1919, were suitably recognised by the club. Mr Dohnt had rendered the club valuable assistance over a long period of years both as an official and a player. The club desired Mr Dohnt to carry on his duties as secretary, but Mr Dohnt stated that he could not continue the work as he was now a resident of Masterton. The club, however, thought so much of his services that he was asked to continue as a member of the management committee, and this Mr Dohnt agreed to' do. The club presented Mr Dohnt with a cheque in appreciation of the services he had always so willingly given the club. Mr Dohnt suitably replied, stating that no matter where he was he would always have a warm spot in his heart for the Featherston Club.
