POWER SUPPLY
MEETING OF WAIRARAPA BOARD. OVERHAUL IN VARIOUS AREAS. (“Times-Age" Special.) The monthly meeting of the Wairarapa Electric Power Board was held in the Board's Room this morning. Mr Campbell Pearce presiding. There were also present: Messrs S. Dalgleish M. B. Tait. C. R. Holmes, J. H. Colquhoun, L. T. Daniell and H. P. Hugo. Apologies for absence were received from Messrs W. Howard Booth and W. A. Tate. Accounts amounting to £5945 9s 4d were passed. Tenders for lubricating the board's motor vehicles were let to the undermentioned motor firms: Vic. Jones (Masterton). £l7 14s; R. 11. Every (Carterton). £l6 2s fid; 11. Boyd and Son '(Martinborough). £5 14s. ■The engineer, Mr H. B. Keenan, submitted plans for the Northern. Central and Southern districts for work to be carried out each week to complete the overhaul of the areas during ; period of 3 years. The engineer was congratulated for the plans he had prepared. It was stated that the plans would be very useful for future use.
