YOU MUST DO THESE
HABITS TO ACQUIRE. Here's a list of the habits you must acquire:— Use the clothes brush. Using the shoe brush so the suede tips and-sides never look dusty. Clean powder puffs. A fresh one every day. Ditto for handkerchiefs, ditto for hosiery and for gloves. Using your orange wood stick so that the nail tips are as clean inside as they are shiny on the outside. Keeping the contents of your pocket book as clean and orderly as possible. Washing your hands well and often and using a softener afterwards. The nightly clean-up, oven if you are on the point of collapse; resist the urge to tumble-in without cleansing your face, brushing your hair, and washing your teeth and hands. Watching the state of repair . . . this goes for hosiery, lingerie, your veils, your heels and your gloves. It all boils down pretty much to just keeping clean, an almost antiseptic kind of cleanliness. But there is more to it than that. Watch yourself in the matter of careless habits such as running your hand through your hair, biting your nails, nervous hand habits. Such habits are unattractive and certainly not conducive to impeccable grooming. Remember that to have people say you always look fresh is a great compliment. Try to earn it.
