According to a Berlin report, the German News Agency states that Germany intends to 'respect the neutrality of Belgium and Holland as long as Britain and France respect it and Belgium and Holland show themselves capable of preserving their neutrality. FEVERISH WORK ON THE SIEGFRIED LINE. OPPOSITE DUTCH FRONTIER. (Received This Day, 1.15 p.m.) AMSTERDAM, November 13. The newspaper “Handelsbrad” says the extension of the Siegfried Line opposite the Dutch frontier is proceeding feverishly in accordance with Herr Hitler's orders, apparently as a precaution against an Anglo-French invasion of Germany through Belgium and Holland. GERMAN ASSERTION MEDIATION SABOTAGED BY BRITAIN. (Received This Day, 11.50 a.m.) BERLIN, November 13. The official Berlin News Agency states that the British reply to the peace appeal is a challenge to Germany and sabotage mediation in advance.
