Museum Facilities.
The demand for the educational facilities of the Canterbury Museum exceeds the supply, in spite of great help from the staffs of the Training College and the Museum and from Training College students, according to the museum and library committee of the Canterbury University College Council. The committee reported to the council that in the last month 1335 children and 49 teachers visited the Museum for instruction. There were now 20 school cases in city schools, seven in Timaru. and 26 in country schools. “Forty years ago,” remar'Ks a writer, "women went skating in bustles.” They knew the meaning of comfort in those days.
