OFF TO CAMP
TEN MEN LEAVING MASTERTON TOMORROW. NINE FOR FIRST ECHELON. A further ten men from the Wairarapa will proceed to Trentham camp tomorrow, nine of them to join up with the First Echelon. The men, who will assemble at the Drill Hall at 1 p.m., will be addressed at the railway station by the Mayor, Mr T. Jordan. It is hoped to engage the services of the Wairarapa College Pipe Band to head the march of the men from the Drill Hall to the station. Those going into camp are: L. A. Stewart. T. W. Madsen, G. Pi Madsen, R. B. Connolly, G. G. Coleman, N. M. Nicll, J. G. Simonsen, C. W. If Hatchard, and P. C. Martin. Second-Licut. H. V. Donald, who will be joining up with the Second Echelon, will also accompany the party. Mr R. Whyborn. president of the Wairarapa R.S.A., will speak to the men at the Drill Hall prior to their departure for the station.
