Mr Attlee, today formally outlined Labour's peace aims in a speech to Labour nu mbers of the House of Commons as follows:--
An undictated peace, and recognition of the right of all nations, whatever their Colour and creed, to develop their own characteristic civilisation; an outlawing of war and protection oi the I’ighis of minorities by an international body with political and economic authority over individual States; abandonment of imperialism; and possibly an extension of the- mandate system.
