SALVAGED THETIS
ONE BOWCAP FOUND OPEN. SIGNS OF SUBMARINE STRIKING OBSTRUCTION. (Received This Day, 9.40 a.m.) LONDON, November 8. A falling tide revealed that one of the bowcaps of the submarine Thetis was open and the remainder shut but dented, as though she had struck an obstruction.
