UNDER REMOUNT SCHEME FOR WAiRARAPA DISTRICT. B.H. KIOSK (11). (Tea Tray—Rosie Desmond.) THIS horse has been chosen by the Remount Committee and passed as sound by two Government Veterinary Surgeons. Kiosk was a good performer on the track. At two years he won the Roseneath and Pacific Handicap at Wellington and the Manawatu Stakes. At four years he won the Wanganui Flying Handicap, third in the Stewards at Riccarton, first in the Criterion at Riccarton, first in the Fielding Stakes, and first in the Jackson Stakes at Wanganui. This record shows Kiosk to have pace and substance. Of good type, he is over 16 hands and of strong and compact build. Selected from a choice of five by the Remount Committee, Kiosk should be ideal for the purpose of producing horses of the Remount type. Kiosk will stand the season in the Wairarapa, travelling the district. All mares to be served must be approved by the District Remount Committee. Service Fee, 4 guineas, and paddocking 2/6 per week, payable by owner of mare on service. Apply— H. C. O’BRIEN (Owner), Upper Plain, MASTERTON. Or— N. H. JAMES. Racing Club. MASTERTON
