Greyhound Racing Provides Many Thrills.

BIG MEETING AT SOLWAY SHOWGROUNDS, MASTERTON. ON SATURDAY.

Greyhound racing has become a very popular sport in Masterton owing to the many thrills it. provides. The Wairarapa Coursing Club will hold another of its popular meetings at the Solway Showgrounds on Saturday, commencing at 2 p.m. There are eight races on the programme, and some of the most noted greyhounds in the North Island will be among the competitors. The Challenge Cup will be the outstanding event, but in addition there are cpmpetitions for various types of dogs. The Maiden and Open Hurdles should provide thrilling racing and graceful jumping. The number of entries received is very gratifying, and assures the club of a very successful meeting.
