DUTCH FRONTIER
GERMANS CONCENTRATING ■ MEN & MATERIAL DEFENCES REINFORCED. FLOODING MEASURES READY. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received This Day, 1.15 p.m.) AMSTERDAM, November 7. Germany has placed shock troops, tanks and armoured cars from the Polish campaign along the whole frontier, under the command of General Blaskowitz. According to German sources this is due to a lack of accommodation in the Siegfried forts. Dutch troops continue to man the frontier and are being reinforced at all points. The flood defences are ready. Great aircraft activity is reported from numerous points on the FrenchLuxembourg frontier, and several air fights have occurred.
OPINION IN BERLIN EXPECTATION OF EARLY ACTION. (Received This Day. 11.40 a.m.) LONDON, November 7. The Berlin correspondent of the British United Press states that residents of Berlin, though as usual they are kept uninformed, expect a definite result from Herr Hitler's morning conference with Marshal Goering and Generals Brauchtisch and Keitel.
