Mrs Colin Deans, Taucru, is staying at Paraparaumu Beach. Mrs F. C. Lewis, Renall Street, Masterton, is visiting Hawke’s Bay. Mrs Ball, Napier, is the guest of Mrs H. McKay, Renall Street, Masterton. Miss Admorc, Coradine Street, Masterton, spent the week-end in Wellington. Mr and Mrs Everard White and family, Manaia, are staying at Paraparaumu Beach. Mr and Mrs S. J. Finlayson, Palmerston North, are visiting Masterton, after a motor tour of the North Island. The death occurred at Featherston yesterday of Mrs Effie Helena Reicht’ord Burt, wife of Mr F. W. Burt, of Te Kohi, in her 70th year. Mr and Mrs J. Mills, who have been slaying with Mr and Mrs A. P. Bennett, Renall Street, Masterton, have returned to Eastbourne, Wellington. Mr and Mrs J. B. Moodie were Wairarapa visitors to the Palmerston North show, and were the guests of their daughter, Mrs Anthony Wall. Miss Moodie, who accompanied her parents, is remaining with her sister for a time before going to Wellington. Mrs Mantell, Wellington was a recent guest at the Prince of Wales Hotel, Masterton.
Miss J. Matthews, Waipukurau, is staying in Masterton, and is at the Prince of Wales Hotel. Among the guests at the Prince of Wales Hotel are Mr and Mrs A. C. Gray, Christchurch, Mr and Mrs C. Pallfser, Wellington, Mrs W. D. MacDonald, Rotorua, and Mr and Mrs R. J. McKay, Wellington. The following are among the guests at the Prince of Wales Hotel, Masterton: Messrs E. Milton, R. Blinkhorn and A. E, Allison, Palmerston North; H. Kummer, Greytown; F. Johnson, Havelock North; B. Wilson, Picton; J. D. Wilson, Napier; Katene, Levin; Lange, Gisborne; H. F. Sim, and J. Ewart, Wellington.
