The State municipal elections throughout the nation tomorrow may indicate 1940 political trends, while polling in California and Ohio will provide a cross-section of national sentiment regarding social legislation as both States arc sponsoring radical pension plans. The Californian plan promises 130 dollars monthly to unemployed over 50 and the Ohioan plan fifty dollars monthly to unemployed over GO. The Californian plan is similar to that defeated last year by 200.000 voles in a two million poll.
