PROPAGANDA PAY
OFFERED BY GERMANY IN DENMARK AN ADVERTISING SCHEME. PLANS FOR ALL NEUTRAL COUNTRIES. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. LONDON. November 6. The Copenhagen correspondent of the “Daily Telegraph" says that a German company, called "Advertising and Propaganda," has established an office in Copenhagen with the initial capital of £lOO.OOO lor advertising German goods in Danish publications. The staff of 15 consists of persuasive propagandists. It is made clear that the company will buy space in proportion to the pro-German sentiments of the publication concerned. Denmarks “Incorporated Practitioners of Advertising” passed a resolution urging members not to accept the company's advertisements. Leading weeklies indicated that their editorial policies were not for sale. It is understood that similar companies are being established in all neutral countries in America and Europe.
