SHIP’S ITINERARY

MAY RETURN TO AMERICA DIRECT. TAKING BACK BRITISH CARGO. (Received This Day.- 9 a.m.) LONDON. November 6. The British United Press Association’s Berlin corespondent learns that, in accordance with the new Neutrality Bill, the City of Flint is proceeding to America direct, taking back her British cargo and not calling at an English port.

A Daventry report states that the captain of the City of Flint has conferred with the United States representative in Belgium and the United States Minister in Norway. It is now believed that the City of Flint will remain in Belgium waters for several days. No preparations have yet been made for her to sail on her return to America. There are indications that her cargo will be unloaded.

ORDERED INTO PORT DISCLOSURE BY CAPTAIN OF CITY OF FLINT. GERMAN THREAT TO SINK SHIP. (Reeived This Day. 9.25 a.m.) NEW YORK. November 6. Broadasting from Bergen, the City of Flint’s master, Captain Joseph Gainard, revealed that he put into Haugesund in compliance with instructions from the German merchantman Schwaben, not because an American sailor was ill. The Schwaben circled the City of Flint and her commander megaphoned the order.

Captain Gainard added that when the City of Flint was seized the. German commander told the crew: "If you make trouble. I'll put you in open boats and sink your ship."
