CONCERT AND DISPLAY
MASTERTON Y.M.C.A. ANNUAL ENTERTAINMENT. On Wednesday next, November 8. the public of Masterton will be treated to entertainment quite out of the ordinary in the form of the Y.M.C.A. annual gymnastic and physical culture display, together with a varied programme of items by associate artists. The physical display will give ample demonstration of the standard of work achieved in the Y.M.C.A. gymnasium. Fulfils of Miss Dorothy Tate and Miss Nola Woods will be seen in a variety of charming dances; there will be musical and humorous items by well known local artists; a party of boys from the Whatman Home will give a striking demonstration; and. by special arrangement, Mr Allan Shand, noted piano-accordianist of Wellington, will make his first public appearance here. Altogether, there will be well over a hundred performers, as well as a full orchestra. Tickets are available at the Y.M.C.A. or from members and seats may be reserved at Arts and Crafts, without extra cost.
