ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF DONATIONS. MASTERTON LIST OPENED. The Mayor. Mr T. Jordan, acknowledges receipt of the following donation to the Wellington Provincial Patriotic Fund for the provision of band instruments and camp amenities for the men under training for the Special Military Force:— £ s d P. H. Nathan 10 0 0 GENEROUS OFFER. FULL SET OF INSTRUMENTS FOR BAND. An offer to equip immediately a band with a full set of instruments for the Trentham camp has been made to the chairman of the Provincial Patriotic Committee. Mr T. C. A. Hislop, by Messrs Hamilton Nimmo, Senr, R. H. Nimmo. and A. J. Nimmo. of Wellington. The only condition of the offer is that after the war the instruments are to be handed over to the Wellington Y.M.C.A. to enable that organisation to form a brass band for the city of Wellington.
