OPENED YESTERDAY EXCELLENT DISPLAY OF STOCK. MANY WAIRARAPA SUCCESSES. I (By Telegraph—Press Association.) PALMERSTON N„ November 2., There was an excellent display of .stock at the Manawatu Centennial Spring Show, which opened in Palmerston North today in fine weather. A glance through the catalogue indicates that the exhibits have come from a wide area, some from as far away as Poverty Bay. Entries for all classes total 2984, compared with 2720 for the spring show last year. Many Wairarapa breeders were successful with their exhibits. Prize list:— ROMNEY MARSH.
