WAR WEDDING

MASTERTON BRIDE IN ENGLAND. The wedding took place quietly in St Catherine's Church. Merstham, Surrey, on September 4. of Mary Cave, youngest daughter of the late Mr and Mrs T. C. Bannister. Whareama. Masterton, to Gerard Percy, eldest son of Mr and Mrs W. A. Railion, "Forpenhow,” Hale, Cheshire. The bride, who was given away by Mr T. Mcßae, wore a smart grey suit with a deep rust-col-oured blouse and matching accessories. Because of the war the wedding was necessarily very quiet, and the original plans were forgone. The honeymoon was to have been spent in Scotland, but the bridegroom was able to get only sufficient time for a very brief spell in Sussex. They have taken a flat at 27 Southbank Lodge Surbiton, Surrey.
