CONCERT MANAGER FOOLED
Jascha Heifetz, the celebrated vio-l linist who makes his screen debut in Samuel Goldwyn's “They Shall Have Music,” tells the story of how he once fooled a concert .manager. This manager had insisted that he play his famed Stradivarius and Heifetz resented this dictation, but said nothing. That evening he played his concert on his aluminium violin, with no one the wiser. This unusual instrument, by the way, is used by the maestro in one musical scene in the him.
