The vessel reported to have been attacked ofl Nova Scotia is believed here to be the Coulmore. Revised estimates give the vessel's position as 680 miles due cast of New York. Two coastguard aeroplanes were forced to turn back owing to bad weather after reaching the neighbourhood.
