MILK FOR SCHOOLS

SCHEME WORKING VERY WELL. “I am quite pleased with the way in which the milk is being delivered to the schools in the Wairarapa,” said Mr W. R. Nicol, chairman of the District Milk Committee today, referring to the extension of the scheme to supply children of Wairarapa schools with milk. Mr Nicol said some of the children who did not at first relish the milk v/ere now eager to get it and in other cases the children had asked if they could get more than their half-pint allowance. The milk being supplied to the children was from tuberculin tested -cows.
