EUCHRE PARTY & DANCE

PAHAUTEA GATHERING. There was a good attendance at the euchre party and dance held in the Pahautea Hall on Saturday night. The winners of the euchre were: Ladies, Mrs Ackerman 1, Miss Cade 2. Men. Mr Cade 1, Mrs Bridgewater 2. The aggregates resulted: Men, Mr Bentley 1. Mr Ruka 2. Ladies. Miss Frcu 1. Miss M. Bargh 2. RETURNED SOLDIERS CHURCH PARADE ON SUNDAY. Members of the Featherston branch of the Returned Soldiers Association will attend the evening service at St John’s Church on Sunday, November 12. This will be the first parade of the returned soldiers held in Featherston for some time.
