MODEL ENGINE

MADE BY MASTERTON RESIDENT. FINE EXAMPLE OF WORKMANSHIP. An excellent working model of an Ab engine is at present on display in the window of Messrs C. E. Daniell Ltd. Masterton. The model, which is in course of construction, weighs 1681 b and its estimated haulage capacity when completed is 22401bs on a level track. It is being constructed by Mr J. Grey, of Cambridge Terrace. Masterton, who has been working on it for the past ten years. A feature of the model is its complete detail, it being in every respect an exact replica in miniature of an actual Ab engine. It is to be forwarded to the Centennial Exhibition next week and will be on view in Masterton until Saturday. Castings were used only in making the wheels, domes. -<d cylinders.
