District Lamb Competition.
A reminder is given that entries for the district lamb competition, to be held at the Waingawa Freezing Works next Tuesday, close on Friday. The competition is being conducted as usual this year, except that the Jambs will not be sent to England for judging at Smithfield. Masterton Building Permits.
Five permits to the estimated value of £1437 10s were issued by the Masterton Borough Council for October this year as against 13 permits to the estimated value of £5696 14s for the corresponding month last year. The new dwelling permits were one for last month as against four for October. 1938.
