STOCK MARKET
PAHIATUA SALE. The Associated Auctioneers Association reports on the Pahiatua weekly sale as follows. A yarding of 500 head of station cattle, a small yarding of sheep, and a good entry of pigs were submitted to a good attendance of buyers. The cattle yarded comprised mostly yearling steers, for which there was a good enquiry; two-year steers and small three-year cattle were slightly easier, although the quality was down on the first cattle sale held at the end of September, while the yearling cattle showed an improvement in condition.
