AMATEUR ATHLETICS
MASTERTON CLUB. SEASON TO OPEN ON WEDNESDAY. The following events will comprise the programme for the opening of the Masterton Amateur Athletic Club’s weekly evening runs commencing on the Park Oval at 6 p.m., Wednesday:— 50 yards and 75 yards men’s senior. 75 yards men’s junior; 50 and 75 yards (club ladies). Field events: Shot putt and long jump, 880 yards or 1000 yards, distance events, school boys, 50 and 75 yards; school girls, 50 and 75 yards. All club members and intending members are requested to be present. Handicaps will be declared on the ground,
