BREWERY WORKERS
DOMINION AWARD SOUGHT. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. The Conciliation Council met today to discuss a proposed award for brewery workers in all districts except Nelson, Otago and Southland. Mr Mount joy, the employers advocate, referred to it as the first award that could be termed a Dominion award.. The employers wanted to make it clear they were not in a position to offer any increase in wages and had tried, in their counter-propos-als, to keep as closely as possible to present award conditions.
