BAD WEATHER
ON THE WESTERN FRONT GERMAN OFFENSIVE POSSIBLE IN FEBRUARY. ACCORDING TO PARIS PAPER. By Telegraph—Press Association— Copyright. PARIS, October 30. A French communique states: "There was a quiet night. We repulsed small enemy attacks." The Petit Parisian points out that the weather at present is too bad for offensive operations and aerial activity. The paper considers that Germany is unlikely to delay later than February, “one of the best months of the year.” Moreover operations are possible in Holland even during the winter. A London message states that Luxembourg reports great aerial activity along the Moselle and the Saar.
