Miss A. E. Anderson has returned to Eketahuna from a visit to Wanganui. Mrs Tschmaker, Blenheim, is staying with Mrs Alister Williams, Te Parae.

Taranaki visitors .to Masterton, Mr and Mrs T. Holden, are among the guests at the Hotel Midland. Mrs J. Fergus-Mills, Eastbourne, is the guest of Mrs A. P. Bennett, Renal! Street, Masterton.

Mrs Budge, who has been staying with Mrs Carey, Lansdowne, has returned to Stratford.

Mrs Glendinning, Wairoa, is staying with her mother, Mrs S. M. Baird, Cole Street, Masterton. Mr and Mrs C. J. Whiteford, of Wellington, are visiting Masterton and are staying at the Hotel Midland. Mr and Mrs A. P. Bennett, Renall Street, Masterton, have returned from a visit to Wellington. Mrs R. Miller, who has recently returned from England, has been visiting her mother, Mrs D. McGregor, Pownall Street, Masterton. Misses Gwen and Mary Pither, of Lansdowne, who are weekend visitors to Wellington, were among the guests at the Centennial Exhibition ball last night. Mr and Mrs W. H. Robieson, King Edward Street, Lansdowne, who have been staying with Mr and Mrs F. Tatham, Homewood, have returned to Masterton.

Mr and Mrs A. W. Charleson, of College Street, Master.ton, are today celebrating their silver wedding and have been recipients of numerous congratulatory messages. In connection with the Centennial Exhibition ball held in Wellington last night, Mrs T. Jordan, of Masterton, was a member of the general committee as were also Miss F. Card (Featherston) and Mrs A. W. Horton (Greytown). Mrs D. H. S.’ Riddiford, of Featherston, was a member of the executive.
