ANNUAL MEETING OF CLUB. ELECTION OF OFFICERS. The annual meeting of the Te Ore Ore Tennis Club was held last night. The meeting dealt with the question of continuing with the club’s activities in view of the unsuccessful season experienced last year. After considerable discussion it was decided to carry on. The election of officers resulted as follows: —Patron, Mr H. W. Lee; president, Mr J. McDonald; vice-presidents, Messrs H. S. Brunton, McLaughlin, D. Costello, J. M. James, J. McKenzie and J. West; Hon secretary and treasurer, Mrs K. Te Tau; Committee: Misses M. Carol, D. McKenzie, N. West, H. Lock; Messrs lan Morris, Rob Morris, E. Te Tau, A. McDonald; Club captain, Mr O. Henshilwood. It was decided to open the season with a yankee tournament on Saturday, November 11, and to invite members of kindred clubs to be present.
