MASTERTON Y.M.C.A,
LADIES’ AUXILIARY. MONTHLY MEETING. There were 10 ladies present at the monthly meeting of the Ladies’ Auxiliary of the Masterton Y.M.C.A., held this week, Mrs G. R, Beecroft (president), occupying the chair. An apology for absence was received from Mrs Hessell. The main business of the meeting concerned preparations for the annual Mother and Daughter Tea, to be held on Tuesday next. Matters concerning the arrangements were gone into, ancl there is every indication that the function will be the usual great success. Miss Barnett, matron of the Masterton Hospital, has consented to act as principal speaker for the evening. At the conclusion of the meeting an enjoyable afternoon tea was served by the ladies.
