EKETAHUNA
BUSH CRICKET MATCHES TO COMMENCE ON NOVEMBER 4. (“Times-Age” Special.) At a meeting of the Bush Districts Cricket Association last night it was decided to commence the championship fixtures on November 4. The senior fixtures for the opening day were drawn up as follows; —Eketahuna v. Mangamaire, at Mangamaire; Pahiatua v. Pahiatua Fire Brigade, at Pahiatua. The following committees were appointed: — Fixture committee, Messrs Montgomery, Towler and Cobb; postponement committee, Messrs F. Robinson and Smythe; selection committee, Messrs F. Robinson and Montgomery; delegates to the Southern Hawke’s Bay Cricket Association, Messrs Smythe and McKay.
