The five judges of the Dairy Cattle section were particularly pleased with the entries, which they considered to be as good as any seen at the show. The champion three-year-old dairy heifer, winner of the Society's Gold Medal, was a splendid type. For the first time in many years all the judges independently selected the winning] animal. The champion dairy cow als<] was unanimously awarded first prize.
