ONE ON MICKEY ROONEY. Mickey Rodney does: impersonations of Lionel Barrymore and Clark Gable in “Babes in Arms.” Lionel and Clark dropped in to see the precocious young star take them of!'. “That’s not bad, Mickey,” Lionel said after the scene was over. “And what did you think of the one on you, Clark?” asked Rooney. Gable thought for a moment. “Well, I’ll tell you, Mickey,” he finally answered, “one of us is rotten.” This was the first time Mickey was left tongue-tied.
