I MANY JOINING BRITISH ARMY. TREATY WITH TURKEY WELCOMED. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 12.10 p.m.) f RUGBY, October 24. Reports from Palestine show that the invitation to Arabs and Jews to serve in certain units of the Army has brought a keen response from both communities. The treaty with Turkey is hailed by the Arab Press as a brilliant diplomatic success and relief is &elt at the checkmate to possible German intrigues at the expense of Arab countries. The Arabs remain solidly behind the British Government.
