Mason, stated that the champion bull carried himself very well, but could have been a little deeper, though otherwise he had' plenty of dairy quality. The yearling bull class was a strong one, the first and second prize-winners being particularly good. The entries in the cow sections were very even. The prizewinner, in the two-year-old heifer class was a heifer that should have a future. The yearling heifer section was a splendid'entry. Very little separated first and second prizewinners. The majority of the exhibits were brought out in really good show condition and were up to the best standards seen at most shows. The champion cow was typical of the breed. The aged class contained some outstanding cows. The three-year-old heifer class was rather weak, there being only one good animal in it. The two-year heifers were very fair, the yearling heifers were very good and there was little between the three prize-winners in the heifer calf class. The champion bull was a classy animal showing breed character. The two-year-old bulls were the weakest class in the section. The yearling bull class brought forth some good quality cattle. The first prize yearling bull was an exceptionally good animal. The bull calf class was a good one considering the season.
