HITLER’S PLANS
CONFERENCE IN BERLIN ENDED NO NEW PEACE OVERTURE. ACCORDING TO OFFICIAL AGENCY. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. LONDON, October 23. . The Berlin Official News Agency denies that Germany is likely to present new peace proposals. The agency states: “German conditions can only be those that Herr Hitler stated in his Reichstag speech, when Britain brutally repulsed the Fuehrer’s outstretched hand. Germany has not the least cause to take the initiative in setting forth new conditions for a peace attempt." The Berlin correspondent of the British United" Press says that the district leaders have returned home after their secret talks with Hitler, who, it is supposed, was informed of local opinion.
