BLEACHING PACK
TO CLEAN THE HANDS. The following bleaching pack for the hands will be found efficacious: — First scrub your hands clean with warm water and soap. Then massage a little nourishing cream well into the skin, paying particular attention to the finger joints and the knuckles. Allow the cream to remain on the skin while you mix your bleaching pack. Mix together half an ounce of oatmeal, five to six drops of tincture of benzoin, and one-eighth of an ounce of peroxide. Mix into a thick paste and then add enough warm olive oil to thin the paste.
Remove the surplus nourishing cream from the hands with facial tissues, and apply the pack to the skin. Allow it to remain on until it is quite dry, and then with towels which have been soaked in warm water remove the mixture. Remove every trace of the dried paste from between the fingers. and take care that you do not rub the skin too vigorously. If the paste is difficult to remove it is because the towel is not wet enough.
