LEAGUE OF MOTHERS
SERVICES OFFERED TO STATE. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. At a meeting of the Dominion executive of the League of Mothers, Mrs White, Dominion president, reported that she and Mrs Cornish, provincial president, had attended the mayoress's meeting in Wellington, and had offered the services of the league, unconditionally, for the duration of the war. It was decided in the meantime to formulate, through the branches, some scheme whereby hospitality in the homes of members could be extended to soldier sons of members of the League of Mothers resident in other towns. ______
